Jonathan Bryan joined HRR in 1991 at the tender age of 18 (after two years on the waiting list!) and is definitely an early riser. After several years presenting the Saturday Breakfast show he fancied a change a few years ago – so now he presents a fortnightly Sunday Breakfast show instead! When not on HRR Jonathan works in cyber security and describes himself as a coffee addict and a marathon runner. He remembers listening to Noel Edmonds on Radio 1 and Round Midnight with Brian Matthew on Radio 2 in his youth and also admires Terry Wogan, Simon Mayo, Chris Evans and Tony Blackburn amongst others – and, not surprisingly, his secret ambition would be to work on Radio 2! But he says “I have been so lucky to have worked at Hospital Radio Reading for so long : it’s a privilege to play music to the patients”.
